I'm a 40-year-old married couple from the southern part of the country. I work at the grocery store, and I'm a pharmacist. I've read that Synthroid is the most important drug that you can have without insurance. It's one of the most commonly prescribed medications. It's very important because it can cause weight gain, cholesterol levels, and, in many cases, death. I'm not sure why my husband and I were prescribed this drug, but he said he had a heart attack the day we started trying to have a baby. He was taking it because he had never had heart attacks, so we were told he could lose weight if he continued taking it. The second time we tried to have a baby, he was having chest pain. He had the same side effects. He was in pain for about four hours and went to the hospital. He was put on 100 milligrams of Tylenol, which is the generic form of Synthroid. It's a prescription-only drug, so his health is fine. He was on 100 milligrams of Lidocaine which is one of the best-tolerable drugs for heart attack, but he was on a daily dose of 75 milligrams. He was on an antihistamine. When I asked him why, he said he was being very tired. "I was going to take a dose of a medicine that was made by a company that makes a drug for the condition. I had an allergic reaction to it. I was going to go to the hospital to be examined. I had a heart attack the next day, and my doctor called me. I was very upset and scared, and I told him I didn't want to go to the hospital to take a pill that I was going to take and it didn't work. I thought, 'Oh my God, what if I can't take a pill that's been prescribed for me?'" He said he was having difficulty and he couldn't get his breath.
